Meet the Artist

Jennifer is a painter based in Vero Beach, FL. Her work focuses on movement, bold colors, and the sensuality of nature after the artwork of Van Gogh.
Raised in Northern New Jersey, Jennifer pursued music as a creative expression from her earliest memories. In high school, however, she began sketching and writing poetry during class. Her intention was still to pursue music as a career, but after graduating high school and finding that music was no longer an option of study, Jennifer was forced to press into alternate avenues of expression. It was in college, while studying Creative Writing, that she first became interested in painting, but it took a move to Florida and a bout of unemployment for her to buy her first set of paints. Painting, she found, was far less cerebral and more corporeal. It engaged the body, it captured movement, and it forced her to move away from a monochromatic lifestyle.
Her education has been in studying the masters of Impressionism and watching contemporary artists redefine Impressionism for a new generation. She currently sells out of her home studio in Vero Beach.
